“Over the past year and a half, I’ve been battling Stage IV endometrial cancer. Throughout my treatment, I continued working because I wanted to remain as independent as possible. Rather than going on disability, I worked through treatments and recovery whenever I could, even though any time I needed to take off was unpaid.

Recently, my health reached the point where I could no longer continue working. I’ve tightened my belt in every way I can, but my medical and everyday expenses have continued to grow.

I’ve been part of the SEEDS community for many years because I believe in helping others. I’ve always hoped I would be in a position to give rather than receive, but today I find myself needing the kindness and generosity of others.” Janell has asked for $9,500.
