Help Damilola Support Employees During COVID

Anyone can redeem a SEED, our cryptocurrency for social good, to make a Request for Help. Damilola redeemed a SEED to make the following request of $300 USD. Here it is in his own words, with editing for clarity:

“I run a business in Lagos, Nigeria. Things had been going smoothly before COVID-19, but ever since the pandemic started, funds have dwindled. I learned about the Seeds community through a friend.

I haven't been able to pay my employees’ salaries because of the pandemic, and there is little government support. My conscience isn't letting me rest since most of them rely on the job as their only source of livelihood, and they are struggling to survive.

I tried my best to obtain a loan, but no bank wants to lend to a small business owner that has almost gone bankrupt. On top of this, thieves recently looted my store.

I'm left with nothing, but my main concern right now is to support my small number of employees. I hope the Seeds community could help me raise a sum of $300. We really need help.
